๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ Jungle Guide: How to Actually Carry

Jungle is the most impactful role in Honor of Kings. You control the map, decide which lanes win, and secure objectives. Here's how to stop autopiloting and actually carry.

1. Start Red Buff. Always.

I know some guides say start Blue. Ignore them. Red buff gives you bonus damage and a slow that makes your level 2 gank 10x more dangerous. Clear Red โ†’ Raptors โ†’ look for a gank opportunity mid or side lane. Don't full clear โ€” you're wasting the strongest timing window in the game.

2. Gank Timing: Level 2 and Level 4

You have two power spikes as a jungler: level 2 (right after first buff) and level 4 (Ultimate). At level 2, look for overextended lanes. Even if you don't get a kill, burning their Flash is a win. At level 4, your Ult should guarantee a kill if you position right.

3. Objectives > Kills

After a successful gank, don't recall. Push the tower or take the Tyrant. The biggest mistake low-elo junglers make is getting a kill and then backing to buy. Congratulations, you got 300 gold but gave up a tower for free.

4. Which Jungler Should You Play?

Lam is the best jungler right now (54.9% WR). He's mobile, bursty, and snowballs insanely hard. Full Lam guide โ†’

Nakoruru is a solid alternative if Lam is banned. She's easier to play and still very strong. Full Nako guide โ†’

If you're new to jungle, don't start with Lam. Play Nakoruru or Kaizer first โ€” they're more forgiving while you learn pathing.

๐Ÿ—ก๏ธ Jungler mindset: you're not a farmer. You're a predator. Every second you spend auto-attacking a jungle camp while a lane is gankable is a second you're throwing your lead.
